Autumn is a great time of year for triathletes. Race season is over, the weather can still throw in a few occasional warm days, and it’s still light enough ( just ) to train after work. For the guys and girls at Peak XV Coaching they can look forward to few weeks of easier sessions where everything is optional. The main focus being on recovery both mentally and physically.
Autumn also offers the opportunity to focus on some technique work and skill development without the pressure of looming races.
It’s also a perfect time to spend some time working on your weaknesses. In our experience we have found that triathlete are very good at working on their favoured discipline which often happen to also be their strength. So if swimming is your achilles heel or you need some time to freshen up your stroke then you may be interested to know that we are now taking booking for our 1-1 session on Mondays, Wednesday evenings and Thursday, Sunday mornings.
